When McCoy had first signed on Enterprise as Chief Medical Officer, Jimmi was just starting high school. Kirk had told her that he would keep her father safe. She had looked up at him solemnly and made him promise. It was not a promise he made lightly.


Bits and Pieces:

I don't know how anyone else writes, but all my stories start out as bits.   A bit is a conversation or a scene.   It is something that shows a bit of character development or a flash of a story line.  

Some bits get incorporated into stories.   Some bits go no where.  I tend to jump around in the time line.  Sometimes writing about Enterprise adventures, sometimes writing about the Sulu children. 

Bar bits is just what it sounds like.  Bits that take place at the No Ranks Cafe on Star Base 12

Fly bits  are fragments of writing that happen in or around the Fly By Night Bar and Grill on Star Base 18

Demora Jean  is one long bit that has to do with after the Sulu's second child is born.   I may at some point use this in a longer story line.  Maybe not.
